GoGift is looking for a People & Culture Manager

Help Shape the Future of People & Culture at GoGift – an exciting global growth company!

Are you passionate about building people-first cultures? At GoGift, a fast-growing, global gifting company based in Copenhagen, we’re looking for a progressive and hands-on HR professional to take charge of our People & Culture agenda. This is a unique opportunity to shape HR from the ground up, combining day-to-day hands-on operations & facility management responsibilities with strategic input and leadership support. GoGift was recently acquired by Waterland Private Equity, and you will be instrumental in ensuring a seamless transition as a stand-alone business and fostering a rejuvenated corporate culture that aligns with GoGift's strategic vision of becoming “A global leader within corporate gifting and incentives”. If you have the experience required and want to play a central role in a global high-growth environment, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

As our People & Culture Manager, you’ll be the go-to person for all things related to HR — from administrative and facility management tasks and employee data to recruitment and leadership support. You’ll work closely with the CEO and management across departments, giving you direct influence on how we develop and support our people.

Your Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Admin

  • Be the primary HR contact for employees across the business.
  • Handle all core HR administration, including maintaining accurate employee records.
  • Coordinate payroll input and communication with our external payroll provider.
  • Manage and update personnel policies and the employee handbook.

Transition Management

  • Effectively manage the HR aspects of the ownership transition, ensuring that all HR-related and procedural changes are implemented smoothly.
  • Serve as a liaison between old and new stakeholders to facilitate transparent communication and transition processes.

Performance Management

  • Develop, benchmark and maintain a performance appraisal system that drives high performance and aligns with company goals. Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
  • Manage the compensation and benefits plans to ensure they are competitive, sustainable, and aligned with the GoGift’s strategic objectives.

Legal Compliance and Administration

  • Working closely with GoGift’s Legal department, ensuring compliance with all national employment laws and regulations.
  • Oversee the administration of human resources policies, procedures, and programs.

Facility Management

  • Handle and oversee the maintenance and operations of company facilities to ensure a safe, secure, and efficient work environment for all employees.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Lead recruitment processes from A–Z, ensuring alignment with our values and talent needs.
  • Deliver great onboarding experiences that set new hires up for success.

Advisory & Culture Development

  • Provide sparring and advice to managers on HR issues, including well-being, leave, and performance.
  • Act as a trusted liaison between leadership and employees.
  • Promote a strong, inclusive workplace culture where people thrive.

About You
You’re a hands-on HR generalist who’s comfortable juggling both strategy and spreadsheets. You’re structured, self-driven, and bring calm to a dynamic day. You care about the details — and about the people behind them. Your experience helps you navigate HR with confidence and clarity, and you enjoy being the person others trust for support, guidance, and solid solutions.

We imagine you:

  • Have 5+ years of experience in a broad HR role, ideally in a growth or international setting, with proven experience in facilitating company transition
  • Hold a relevant HR or business-related degree.
  • Know Danish labour law and HR best practices inside and out.
  • Are confident advising leadership and supporting employees alike.

  • Adaptable and capable of managing change with a positive outlook.
  • Have strong ethical standards and a high level of personal integrity.
  • Speak and write fluent Danish and English.
  • Have great energy and a global mindset.
