Student Assistant - Playstation Finland

PlayStation is looking for its next Student Assistant in Finland.

Not just someone who plays games. Someone who is curious, creative, and wants real hands-on experience in marketing – for one of the most recognizable brands in the world.

If you are creative, proactive, and the kind of person who takes ownership even when the task is not glamorous, keep reading.

What you will be doing
This is a marketing job first and foremost. You will be working directly alongside our local marketing specialist for Finland, supporting the PlayStation brand across social media, influencer partnerships, events, and community management. Most of your work will be in Finnish and English, and you will collaborate with colleagues across the other Nordic countries as well as local agencies, influencers, and content creators.

Day-to-day, that looks like:

  • Translations and proofreading (EN–FI)
  • Supporting social media campaigns and activations
  • Community management on PlayStation Finland's social platforms
  • Helping plan and execute local events
  • Working with local influencers
  • Material storage and shipping logistics
  • Ad hoc tasks as they come up, because no two weeks are the same

How it works in practice

  • Hours: 60–80 hours per month. Extra hours can be agreed separately during peak periods.
  • Availability: Expected available time on weekdays between 09.00–17.00
  • Office: At least one day per week in the office (ideally Tuesdays)
  • Location: Helsinki, Konepajankuja 5
  • Salary: €20 per hour
  • Fully compatible with ongoing studies

What we are looking for

  • Native Finnish speaker with strong English skills
  • A background in or solid understanding of marketing, communications, social media, or project management
  • A good eye for content – you know what works and what does not
  • Curious, structured, and comfortable working independently
  • Ideally in the early-to-mid stages of a bachelor's degree, with 2–3 years left until graduation
  • Familiarity with gaming or gaming communities is a plus, but far from a dealbreaker

Why this job is worth your time

This is a real job. You will work on real campaigns, alongside a small team that genuinely cares about what we do – without taking ourselves too seriously. Flexible hours, partial remote work, and the chance to see how marketing works from the inside of one of the world's most recognized gaming brands.
