Group Accounting and Financial Controlling Manager

Nordisk Games is a business unit within Nordisk Film, investing in European game studios targeting global consumers. We are fueling the growing games industry that is driven by highly experienced game creators, innovators and business developers. Responsibility for this position
Nordisk Games a/s is a newly formed separate legal entity within Nordisk Film, and we are building up our finance capabilities. As a new addition to the team we are looking for a seasoned finance profil – reporting to the Nordisk Games group CFO – that will be responsible for a line of key areas in an international group function across our current and future portfolio of games companies.

You will as key deliverables ensure, deliver and strengthen the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting through group consolidation. You will analyse the outcomes with a focus on cashflow and foreign exchange rates and provide recommendations. You will also drive the implementation of a new consolidation system. You will be working with a diverse set of very exciting businesses with global reach and presence. As our portfolio will grow in the future, this is a role with the opportunity for you also both grow professionally and personally.

You will become part of a small, dynamic business unit consisting of 15 team members with the very best experts in the areas of the games industry, M&A, finance and post-merger. We have a flat structure where we help each other, and you will be exposed to a broad range of tasks from different stakeholders.

Who are you?

 You will be right addition to our team if you have

  •  8+ years experience from consolidation at group level
  • 3-5 years experience from a large audit company
  • 3-5 years experience working with international companies, could be from a privately held portfolio, a listed ompany or similar with a portfolio setup
  • Extensive experience with IFRS

You are career oriented and have strong analytical skills combined with advanced Excel skills.; you know how to read and understand financial statements etc. As we are a Nordic company, it is preferred that you are fluent in one of the Scandinavian languages, as well as English, both written and verbally. Additionally, you hold a relevant master’s degree (cand.merc., cand.polit, cand.oecon or similar)
