Social Media Manager - Filmdistribution

Nordisk Film Distribution invests, develops and exploits film rights and launches about 40-60 films a year across the Nordic countries. You’ll get to work with exciting local and international movie titles such as: “Afdeling Q”, “La La Land”, “Alle for Tre”, “Bohemian Rhapsody”, "Robin Hood” and many, many more.

At Nordisk Film we are truly a passionate bunch of people! And as social media manager, you’ll be part of a larger marketing team, but also part of a growing Nordic digital team that deals daily with fun, creative, ambitious and out-of-the-box projects all working towards capturing the next movie experience.

Digitally we aim to set the bar high - among others through engaging in experimentation, concept development, extensive knowledge sharing and inspiration. For example, we plan semi-yearly Nordic SoMe Summits and work in close cooperation with partners like Google and Facebook.We work from a grounded belief that data is king, and all our projects take starting point in the use of data insights.

You’ll be our superstar executor and driven SoMe project manager!

Together with our other Danish SoMe Manager, you’ll be in charge of the daily operations, performance and development of all Nordisk Film owned SoMe channels. Also you’ll be project managing your own film title projects with respect to the entire SoMe process. On a brand level as well as on film specific level you’ll be responsible for:

  • Development, pitching and planning of title/film specific SoMe strategies and presentations - strategy level, operational level and creative level (from idea to finished publishing plan)
  • Once planned you own the SoMe activities from A - Z (incl. paid/earned/owned)
  • Create engaging and creative posts in accordance with your plans and execute on competitions and other planned initiatives while keeping stakeholders informed and involved
  • Project manage content creation, campaign assets, deadlines etc across stakeholders (producers, advertising agency etc.)
  • Handle the paid part of the campaign plus overall reporting
  • And generate content! Camera in hand, - make sure to grab all opportunities to create fun, engaging and innovative SoMe extra materials around all projects (among others by being physically proactive and present on shootings, events, pre-screenings, premieres etc.)

You’ll be our metrics anchorman and at the same time a creative frontrunner!

Metrics is an important part of driving SoMe projects, and you conduct:

  • Initial strategic data analysis to offset all your projects and end reporting including analysis on performance and learnings
  • Weekly reporting on SoMe metrics in accordance with overall KPI’s
  • Continuous analysis of key metrics and basis evaluation and suggestions for development/tests with creative and innovative content, wordings etc.

Your personal competencies:

  • You live and breathe SoMe and content marketing, - and you know who does WHAT and who does WELL on the field
  • You are a skilled communicator and text writer. A “word-whizz” and excellent at communicating on SoMe platforms where you can adapt your style to an audience as well as to a theme/genre
  • You are creative and analytical - you understand how to work with data in order to add impact and learning perspectives to the SoMe efforts
  • You have experience with SoMe management - posting, communicating and generating content. Experience with paid campaigns (maybe from a media agency or similar) is a large plus and so is experience with video/content creation
  • You have experience with project management or project coordination
  • Can do attitude and networking abilities, - you know who to talk to and where to look in order to find good content
  • Black belt in multi-tasking! - you can juggle several topics and tasks simultaneously
  • You dare to try and fail and try again …

You hold minimum a Bachelor and/or preferably a Masters Degree. Fluency in Danish is a strict requirement.
