Nordic Digital Home Entertainment Marketing Manager

Nordisk Film Distribution (NFD) invests, develops and exploits film rights and launches about 40-60 films a year across the Nordic countries. You’ll get to work with exciting local and international movie titles such as: “Flaskepost Fra P”, “Dan Dream”, “La La Land”, “Alle for Tre”, “John Wick”, Far Til Fire” and many, many more

At Nordisk Film we are truly a passionate bunch of people! And as Nordic Digital Home Entertainment Marketing Manager, you’ll be a part of a larger home entertainment sales- and marketing team. You will also be part of a new and growing Nordic digital team that deals daily with fun, creative, ambitious and out-of-the-box projects all working towards capturing the next movie experience and optimizing digital sales.  

Digitally we aim to set the bar high - among others through engaging in experimentation, concept development, close cooperation with digital retailers, extensive knowledge sharing and inspiration. We work from a grounded belief that data is king, and all our projects and digital sales analytics take starting point in the use of data insights. 


Home Entertainment strategy & best practice operations
From a digital marketing perspective, you help define and drive a best practice digital marketing strategy for our Home Entertainment business across the Nordics related to the growing digital ownership (EST) and digital rental (VOD) sales. 

  • In close cooperation with the Nordic Head of Digital Sales, you drive the strategic marketing partnerships with our digital retail partners (e.g. iTunes, Google Play, Sony PlayStation and Viaplay).
  • You drive digital marketing projects with our strategic partners, e.g. data sharing and sales conversion tracking, specific digital marketing cooperation, promotions etc.  
  • You embrace performance marketing and help implement best practice approach across the Nordics.
  • You drive learnings within digital for better understanding of the digital Home Entertainment user. That includes being responsible for the overall collection of and exploitation of the data and campaign evaluation that we need in order to optimize our digital Home Entertainment campaigns.
  • Set up a digital KPI framework to support a best practice Home Entertainment campaign execution. 
  • Communicate insights, recommendations and best practice to the Home Entertainment sales/marketing teams across the Nordics. 
  • Support specific marketing campaigns locally on priority projects. 
  • Manage, implement and nurse a test-measure-learn marketing, - and sales culture across the Nordic.  
  • Make strategy for marketing initiatives towards new versus returning digital customers.

Skills, personality and qualifications

  • You have a master’s degree in a relevant subject
  • Strong commercial understanding, passion for digital business and sales
  • Expert on performance marketing with several years of experience - paid digital media, planning as well as social media. Maybe you have experience from a media agency, performance advertiser or similar
  • Analytical skills and experience in working with the data side of digital and content
  • Experience in working on a Nordic level is a huge plus  
  • Strong communication and networking skills
  • Experience with project management/project planning as well as stakeholder management
  • Inspirational and knowledgeable sparring partner - outgoing, team player and a good networker
  • A black belt multi tasker - capable of handling multiple projects and stakeholders at the same time

What else?

One Scandinavian language is a strict requirement and more than one is a plus. The position is in Copenhagen, and expect some travelling (expected +25 days p.a.)
